About this page

Option 2: Same component, no blurbs. Photo and headline only. Worth knowing how this has to be built: clearing the blurb does not remove it. An empty blurb falls back to the campus page's card description and then to its meta description, and on both pages those hold the same invented sentence. A single space does not work either, because it is trimmed away and counts as empty. The card blurb here holds a zero-width space, which is not trimmed, so nothing renders.

Trade-off. Cleanest reading of the two choices, and no copy to maintain. The cards still point at the campus pages, so their titles, photos and links keep following those pages. The catch is that the blurb is held empty by an invisible character: anyone who clears that field in the editor gets the old sentence back. White space to the right is unchanged.

This is a throwaway comparison page for BM2-869. The hero and the intro paragraph are lifted unchanged from the live Quality of Patient Care page; only the treatment of the two campus cards differs between options. All three add a heading above the cards, which the live page does not have. This explainer text and the revised card blurbs were drafted by an AI assistant.
