At our San Francisco campus, each patient room has its own phone number. If you don't know a patient's phone number, call the operator at 415-476-1000. The operator can provide the number or connect you directly.
Oakland campus
At our Oakland campus, each patient room has its own extension number. To reach a patient, call 510-428-3555 and enter the extension (not the room number). If you don't know the extension, remain on the line and you’ll be transferred to an attendant.

Friends and family members are welcome to send mail to patients in our hospitals. To ensure prompt delivery, please include the patient's name and room number on the envelope and note that it's patient mail.
