She provides education, consultation and advocacy for patients who have this chronic illness. Additionally she works to ensure the long-term survival of adolescents and young adults after kidney transplant by assisting them with the transition to adult health care providers.
McEnhill has published and presented research on the impact of immigration status on pediatric kidney transplant outcomes and the role of nurse practitioners in the field of transplant.
McEnhill earned her undergraduate degree in nursing at the University of San Francisco and a master's degree in nursing at Yale University. She is a member of the American Society of Transplantation and the International Pediatric Transplant Association.
An avid runner, McEnhill always looks forward to participating in her favorite annual race, the 199-mile Hood to Coast team relay.
