About me
Dr. Jennifer Olson is a pediatric endocrinologist who cares for children of all ages with a variety of endocrine disorders, including type 1 and type 2 diabetes; disorders of growth and puberty; thyroid and adrenal gland disorders; menstrual disorders, such as polycystic ovary syndrome (which causes infrequent menstrual periods, among other symptoms); and disorders of vitamin D and bone metabolism, such as osteopenia (weak bones due to loss of density) and osteogenesis imperfecta (also called brittle bone disease).
Olson earned her medical degree at St. Louis University School of Medicine. She completed a residency in pediatrics at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland and a fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at Stanford University School of Medicine. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
