About me

Donald Kephart is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon who cares for children with musculoskeletal conditions. He has a special interest in looking after children with neuromuscular conditions, such as cerebral palsy. He enjoys getting to know kids and their families, and working with other care providers as a team to manage their conditions, recognizing that sometimes the best plan involves surgery, but often it doesn't.

Kephart's research focuses on using technology to analyze how children walk.

Kephart earned his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of California, Davis Medical Center and a fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery at the Hospital for Sick Children, an affiliate of the University of Toronto.

Kephart is a former summer camp counselor and shot-putter and a current aspiring alpine skier.
