As part of diagnosis, she conducts comprehensive, developmentally appropriate behavioral hearing evaluations, as well as auditory brainstem response testing, an advanced technique to assess the nerve pathways involved in hearing. She also specializes in the use of assistive technologies for children who are deaf or hard of hearing, including fitting of traditional and bone conduction hearing aids and programming of cochlear implants.
Reed earned her doctor of audiology degree at the University of Arizona.
